This is an informative training to help delegates gain knowledge on sexual abuse, insight into common issues around sexual abuse and how to wok with disclosure. This thought-provoking workshop will look at the difficult questions that surround sexual abuse. It aims to help those working with survivors of sexual abuse facilitate effective therapeutic interventions and to help them be aware of some of the difficulties that are often met within this work and gain confidence in working with these.
Clients often prtsent with unacknowledged feelings and false beliefs around why the abuse occurred, being able to offer your client an informed understanding approach is vital to allow us to achieve therapeutic depth in our work.
