Amy Walker

I am a BACP registered counsellor and I have been working at The Road Centre since I qualified as a counsellor in 2021. I work primarily with young people, both at The Road Centre and across secondary schools. I am trained in a Person Centred approach, which means the client will often lead the work while I listen without any judgement. I am also trained in other approaches, such as CBT, and I can integrate these models if I feel this is appropriate for each individual client.

I work with a range of individuals and issues.  I am comfortable adapting to the individual client. My ongoing personal development is broad as I look to maintain my ability to bring different approaches for clients as they need them.
