Laura has provided psychology input to two specialist weight management services, supporting people to redefine relationships with food and body image.
This workshop will offer an opportunity to think about relationships with food and body, and what influences these relationships.
The workshop will include:
• How food makes us feel
• Influences on our relationships with food
• Approaches to help build a more positive relationship with food
• Body image problems
• Approaches to help build a more positive relationship with your body
By the end of the workshop, participants will have learned about biological, psychological social and societal influences on our relationships with food and body image and will have been introduced to some tools to help support the development of more positive relationships with food and body image
